Izhora Hydrosystems at the NEVA 2025 Exhibition

Russian solutions for the fleet

Two years ago, at the NEVA 2023 exhibition, we spoke about our capabilities. Now it is time to demonstrate the results. The shipbuilding industry found itself in a state of uncertainty — but we did not hesitate. We developed equipment and technologies from the ground up with all our expertise, dedication, and engineering talent. In 2025, we are not offering “analogues.” We are delivering superior solutions, designed for Russian seas and vessels.

Marine cranes and knuckle boom cranes

Our marine cranes are designed to handle cargo operations under gale-force winds and icy sea conditions. The product range includes everything from stiff boom cranes to compact folding boom models and knuckle boom cranes. This is engineering heritage — refined to perfection.

Stiff boom cranes are a reliable classic solution for most types of cargo handling operations. Folding deck cranes remain compact in their stowed position, but provide maximum outreach and coverage when deployed. Knuckle boom cranes deliver precise and safe performance for tasks of any complexity, even in confined deck areas. Gantry deck cranes enable efficient handling of hatch covers and other auxiliary cargo operations. The work of hold cranes remains unseen from the outside, but is critically important inside the vessel. We also offer powerful, modern, and safe cranes with electric drive, as well as offshore cranes — essential equipment for marine drilling platforms.

LARS (Launch and Recovery Systems)

At sea, decisions often must be made under extreme conditions. Whether it is a routine launch or recovery of workboats, lifeboats, diving cages, and various equipment, or a rescue operation from a sinking vessel. It is always a race against time.

Our launch and recovery systems (LARS) are compatible with all types of lifeboats and workboats. They are designed to withstand heavy-weather operations, comply with international standards (SOLAS, LSA), and provide confidence to every crew member. The systems are suitable for lifeboats, workboats, submersibles, and complex research equipment. Diver LARS ensure smooth, controlled motion and include redundant mechanisms. Each system represents a synthesis of reliability and extensive experience in extreme marine conditions. We offer solutions for all fleets: from small workboats to large vessels.

Marine closures

Water inside the vessel is the greatest fear at sea. Reliable deck, side, and bottom hydraulic closures protect the vessel from water ingress and ensure its watertight integrity and safety.

Multifunctional watertight side closures reliably seal openings and withstand significant loads. Deck hatch covers allow large cargo hatches to be secured quickly and safely. Double-leaf bottom closures provide robust protection of bottom openings even under harsh operating conditions. Hydraulic shell doors combine ease of operation with reliable sealing performance. Ramps ensure safe and convenient embarkation, disembarkation, and cargo handling. Each solution represents engineering precision and guaranteed reliability at sea.

Marine gangways

Our hydraulically actuated gangways with step-leveling systems ensure safe disembarkation and boarding of the vessel.

We design and manufacture marine gangways with various kinematic configurations and a wide range of optional features, including rotary sections, powered handrails, and landing platforms.
Each unit is fully compliant with the requirements of RMRS and RKO.

Helicopter & Cargo handling systems

Helicopter Handling Systems (HHS) provide fast and safe transfer of deck aircraft between the hangar and the flight deck.
Cargo Handling Systems (CHS) are responsible for moving supplies and equipment between the vessel’s compartments.

Both types include winches, a control system, and auxiliary equipment, and can be equipped with electric or hydraulic drives.
These are reliable solutions that reduce operational time and provide the crew with greater flexibility in utilizing the vessel’s available space.

Mast lowering systems

A common situation: a vessel is navigating a river, and a low bridge lies ahead. Mast lowering systems with hydraulic or electric actuation resolve this classic maritime scenario. They fold masts, radars, and antennas, reduce the vessel’s air draft, and allow safe passage under bridges.

Various configurations and options are available. System reliability and ease of control are maintained under all operating conditions. All solutions are certified and designed to meet the customer’s specific requirements.

The sea does not forgive mistakes

Where the price of failure is the crew’s lives and huge financial losses, there is no place for «almost reliable» solutions. In 2025, we are not offering “analogues.” We develop our own equipment for Russian operating conditions:

ice-covered seas, ⚓ national standards, 🏗 shipyard requirements.

Our own design bureau and production facility in Saint Petersburg provide dual quality control. Our cranes, LARS, and marine systems undergo rigorous inspection by RS, RKO, and the Navy.

🔥 NEVA-2025 showcases Russian equipment that rightfully stands alongside the world leaders in the industry.
